The Swan Maidstone

Welcome to The Swan, Maidstone

A much-loved Maidstone local, The Swan offers a warm welcome to all

A traditional community pub in Kent’s county town, The Swan Inn provides homely hospitality and a hive of local entertainment just minutes from Maidstone East station.

It’s home to a regular pub quiz, great music (from disco and karaoke to live bands and open mic nights), and lashings of live sport - with all the action from both Sky Sports and BT Sport.

Of course, for many, the star attraction here is the beer.

Beautiful Kentish ales from Faversham’s Shepherd Neame line the bar, and with the pub Cask Marque accredited for excellent cellarmanship, you’re always assured a perfectly kept pint.

There’s also a good selection of lager, cider and Guinness, along with a range of spirits and single malts - or you can enjoy the simple pleasure of tea and coffee throughout the day.

At lunchtimes, there’s also the opportunity for a quick bite to eat, with sandwiches prepared fresh to order between 12pm and 3pm. Tuck in in the traditional, characterful bar, boasting flagstone floors and a cosy log burner - or in the pub’s pretty walled garden when the summer sun obliges.

Gary and Claire Banfield have recently taken over at The Swan and look forward to welcoming you in 2017.
